General questions about the surfing course
Not at all, you don’t need any previous experience. Our courses are designed so that both absolute beginners and advanced surfers get their money’s worth. We start where you are – whether you’re standing on a board for the first time or want to work on your technique. In our group courses, we only teach participants with the same surfing level.
Our surfing courses are suitable for all age groups. It is important that you can swim and enjoy being active in the water. We adapt the programme accordingly for younger children or older adults. For safety reasons, we do not teach children under the age of 10 in our group courses, but younger children are welcome in private courses or family courses.
Our coaches speak English, French, German and of course Arabic.
A typical session begins with a short warm-up on the beach, followed by a theory session and then the actual time in the water. Depending on your level, we work on technique, posture, timing or manoeuvres.
A course day usually lasts around 3-4 hours, with the course itself lasting 2 hours. We will pick you up directly from your accommodation and then drive together to the spot that is best suited to your surfing level. The group size is a maximum of 6 people per surf instructor – this ensures that you receive individual attention.
Our certified surf instructors not only have many years of experience in surfing, but have also successfully completed certification from the International Surfing Association (ISA) and are trained lifeguards.
Safety is our top priority. We only teach at suitable spots, know the local conditions inside out and adapt the course times to the weather and waves. All coaches are trained lifeguards.
Procedure and organisation
Once you have booked one of our courses, we will let you know the exact time one day before the course starts. At this point, we have the best idea of what the conditions in the water will be like.
The course price includes all equipment (surfboard, wetsuit, leash) as well as pick-up directly from your accommodation or a meeting point of your choice in the Agadir region.
We are flexible and can usually accept last-minute bookings. It is advisable to book at least one day in advance.
Course times depend on the waves and tides. We plan each day individually and let you know the time the day before – so you get the best conditions.
Don’t worry: there are many spots with different conditions in the Agadir region. If one spot is too dangerous or too shallow, we will go to another. If surfing is not possible at all, we will reschedule the course for another day if possible. If a course cannot take place due to weather conditions, it will not be charged.
The surf lessons take place at one of the numerous spots along the Atlantic coast between Tifnit in the south of Agadir and Tamri in the north. Your surf instructor will choose the best spot for your level. The travel time to the spot is not included in the course duration.
The courses for beginners usually take place in Agadir.
The surf school has a mid-range SUV with all-wheel drive.
We also have a very old, beautiful Renault4, but we would only pick you up in it if you made a special request 🙂
We will pick you up from your accommodation or another meeting point in the Agadir area. Travel time is not part of the course duration.
Booking and payment
You can easily book your course using our booking form, by email or via WhatsApp. Just let us know when you would like to come and whether you are a beginner or advanced – we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We accept cash payments in dirhams, euros, US dollars or British pounds. We also accept advance bank transfers or payments via PayPal.
Please note that service fees apply for bank transfers and PayPal payments.
No advance payment is necessary, unless payment is made by bank transfer, in which case the money must be credited to our account before the course begins. Please note that bank transfers can take several days.
No deposit is required for our surf school offers.
For our Surf & Stay package, a deposit of 30% of the total price is required for a binding booking.
Yes, if you book for more than 3 days, the price per course is reduced. We also have special rates for families with more favourable conditions.
For longer stays (more than 14 days) or larger groups (20 people or more), we will be happy to make you an individual offer. Just write to us!
Equipment & What to bring
It is best to bring:
– Swimwear to wear under the wetsuit
– Towel or better a Surf poncho for changing clothes
– Sun protection (zinc or waterproof sunscreen)
– Water bottle
– Good spirits 😉
As we offer our surf courses at various surf spots, we are unable to provide lockers. You can safely store your valuables in your car.
Our wetsuits are from RipCurl and, for women, partly from Roxy.
We go to different surf spots depending on the conditions. However, there are usually no changing rooms on the beaches in the Agadir area. We recommend bringing a surf poncho to change in. We have a mobile shower so you can wash off the salt water after the surf course.
Surfing in Morocco
If you are a beginner, you can learn to surf in Morocco at any time of year in very good conditions.
If you’re already advanced, then frankly you won’t be happy here in high summer, July and August. The best time to visit is definitely between September and April, when one swell chases another and conjures up majestic waves.
As an intermediate surfer, the region around Agadir is also worth visiting in the off-season, as there are many spots that can get your adrenaline pumping and release plenty of endorphins.

Our courses take place on the Atlantic coast between Tifnit, south of Agadir, and Tamri in the north. There are more than 230 kilometres of coastline with over 20 different surf spots. Killer and Anchorpoint are two of the top surfing spots in the world. The area offers everything from beach breaks for beginners, challenging point breaks for advanced surfers and top class point and reef breaks for the pros. The spots and waves are as diverse and varied as the country itself – there is something for everyone and every level.
