Lessons are usually held in English in mixed groups. Our surf instructors also speak French, some German and of course Arabic.
In the group surfing course, one instructor teaches a maximum of 6 participants.
In our group surf courses, we only teach participants with the same surfing level together. We offer different surf courses for each surfing level.
The course takes place at the surf spot that best suits the current conditions and your level of surfing. The course times depend on the tides; we will always let you know the exact start time one day in advance.
The course lasts 2 hours. Including pick-up and spot selection, you should plan for between 3-4 hours.
You don’t need any prior knowledge; we’ll start at your level.
There are many surf spots in the area, so we can usually find a suitable alternative. We also offer the option of postponing the course. If a course is cancelled due to bad weather, you will not be charged.
Payment can be made in cash in dirhams, euros, pounds or dollars. Alternatively, you can pay via PayPal, but this incurs a 4.5% fee.

What to expect from the group surf course
The lessons are coordinated and build on the previous day’s knowledge. You will learn take-off techniques, how to paddle into the line-up and how to paddle into a wave with technique and without unnecessary effort. Once you have mastered the basics, we will teach you more in-depth knowledge about waves, tides, currents and surfing etiquette so that you can feel confident on the water without an instructor.
In our group surf courses we only teach students of the same surfing level. We offer courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. Each group consists of a maximum of 4-6 students per instructor so that each student gets the attention they deserve.
Our dedicated instructors will accompany you in the water throughout the course, giving you individual feedback and tips.
There is a minimum age of 10 years for group classes, we are happy to teach younger children in our private or family classes.
All our surf instructors have professional surf instructor training (ISA certification) and pedagogical skills to pass on their knowledge in a targeted manner.
Learning to surf is a challenge, you need good balance, timing has to be right and every day there are different conditions on the “Playground”. On top of that, some of you may have a fear or two of being in the water. We guarantee that every minute on the board will be worth it – surfing is a great sport and you will have a lot of fun!
